I love being crafty with DIY projects. On this page I will upload my creative attempts. If you have any you'd like to share, or any suggestions, please leave a comment!
Wedding Song on Wood
At my home in Ohio, we have several old barns. One is falling down so I snagged some wood to do this project! This is a line from our first dance song (Tonight by JJ Heller). You can see where I messed up (the m in "am")...it's hard to get rid of your mistakes on wood! And if I were to do it again, I wouldn't center the words. Regardless, I was pretty excited about the project!
This was pretty simple. I found this quote on Pinterest, printed it out, and put it in a picture frame! The quote was already on a page of a book, but you could easily create the same thing!
This was my grandma's old barrel. I'm not sure where she got it from or what she used it for. I flipped it over and now use it for a side table. Pretty simple!
Old Wood Frame
I didn't actually make anything in this picture, but it could still be a DIY project! This is an old wood frame from my grandma. I put a picture in it, stuck some bleached leaves in there, and ta-da!
My lovely Aunt Rebecca made these for our wedding. They originally said "Groom" & "Bride" (Click on the picture to see the original). She made it so that we could reuse it in our new home! Basically, there is a piece of wood on the back, burlap, plastic, and moss-like stuff on the outside frame. We use it to write notes to each other.
I've seen a lot of "collage walls" on Pinterest. I was trying to do something similar. The circles are little doilies. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
